Mark Yeeles has enjoyed many decades in the “beautiful game”, beginning at Broward College in Davie, Florida where he captained the team and was drafted to play in the inaugural MISL ( Major Indoor Soccer League ) by Gordon Fearnley, Head Coach of the Cleveland Force.
He also played for the Birmingham Bandits, Fort Lauderdale Saints and Miami Americans where he was coached by USA soccer pioneer and winningest USA coach, the late Ron Newman, former Head Coach of Sporting Kansas City of MLS and the hugely successful indoor soccer champions, San Diego Soccers.
Yeeles has coached boys soccer at Mills HS in the Bay Area, boys and girls soccer at Santa Fe Christian HS and at Boys Surf Soccer Club in North San Diego and is currently an Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach at Point Loma Nazarene University.More Info
First Women’s Soccer connection:
Twenty years ago, Yeeles played a prominent role with a local business group that arranged the pre 1999 World Cup camp for the first ever Women’s Mexican national soccer team. It was established in Point Loma at the former Naval Training Center ( now known as Liberty Station ).

Yeeles attended the same rugby and cricket playing school in England ( St. Boniface’s College ) with family friend and genial Brit, Tommy King, the current and long standing Managing Director of Administration of US Men’s and Women’s soccer, based in Chicago.
